ABOUT
Born with black-and-white skin, a lonely student is excluded by his classmates. When the bullying escalates, only one girl refuses to judge him.
THE STORY BEHIND IT
Using color (and the absence of it) as a central symbol, the short film portrays a harsh reality within the seemingly ordinary setting of a school. The protagonist’s black-and-white skin was created entirely in post-production, painted frame by frame, with the skin work alone requiring over 35 hours for two minutes screentime.
